What stable will rent a horse and let a person ride according to their ability? The place I was going to go I noticed was a walk only. Looking to cover some ground and do some trotting, cantering.

I can't be of much help here. I don't think there are a lot of places around to rent horses. I think there is a stable or something right near Thunderbird Lake along hwy 9 but I'm not sure if that's close to you.

What part of Oklahoma are you looking to do some riding? There are several stables in the Edmond and Jones areas...as I am sure there are in other places.

Did not move yet.(coming sept 23rd tickets have been bought) I still can't make up my mind. This decision is huge so I will probably be making a few trips to decide where. Remember I have an extreme phobia. I loved the pictures of Guthrie,so no decision on moving or which part of the state. Need to do alot of sight seeing, was hoping to do ranch work while there but people want to charge $150.00 for ranch work.(Dude ranch) Hard to move by myself and leave family and friends behind. Did you see my winter pics?
sincerely a New England Yahoo
