That's right.

Wouldn't it be great if we could have two great cities in Oklahoma that play on the strengths of each other?

OKC is the dominant city in Oklahoma and likely always will be. It's growing faster and a lot more is happening here.

Tulsa is a cool city, but it is just not my cup of tea. Both cities have great things to offer.

I kind of look at this like the Dallas vs. Houston thing that I noticed when I lived in Richardson.

I would also venture to say I think Tulsa is going to start taking off as well.

They already have possibly three outlet malls, a new casino along the river, from what I've heard a possible new 20-30 story tower in the works. They are also getting a new park that actually beats anything I've seen in Dallas if it done according to the rendering.

If I in charge of Tulsa, I'd do a couple things here, redo their streets downtown because they are horrible, dam the river so it will stay filled year-round, and create a light-rail line going from their airport to downtown and create a multi-modul transit hub for an eventual street-car.
