anjoe, here is a link to the ODOT (Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation) website.

On the left hand side there are links for current road conditions, weather information and numbers to call.

Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation

To the best of my knowledge most of the major highways have been cleared, but if you need to exit in any of the smaller towns you could run into a mess.

Best of luck!!

We're hearing here in the Buckeye that you folks are getting ,or were getting hammered by ole man winter, how's it going so far? Our grass is a nice greenish brown and the ground is soggy wet, with lots of sunshine all day today. I was outside without a jacket on and had to wear my sunglasses to keep that bright sun out of my eyes ;~)

Yea, they got hit hard and then they shared it with those of us who live straight north of them. They're actually still showing OK on the national news and on the weather channel. It was a historic storm for them.

And I'm SO happy. The blizzard has finally moved out of my area.

But aren't you folks normally use to this type of weather patterns up there in the Dakotas?

Same here! True to form the Oklahoma sunshine has cut through the clouds and it is BRIGHT outside. Temps have moved above freezing during the day and the snow is SLOWLY beginning to melt.

More and more of the roads are becoming passable, so we can finally get out to the store if needed. We went to the local Grocery yesterday and they had a backhoe/bulldozer clearing the parking lot...everyone was in good spirits and laughing about having to trudge through the snow wearing sunglasses to see.
