Whoever books the Super Bowl half time entertainment ought to be fired for that.

How embarrassing!

I think ever since the Janet Jackson incident they have tried to stick with "safe" performers. I didn't bother watching it tonight, I changed the channel until the game came back on.

I've got to agree man! They were off key and they can't hit the high notes anymore. There were a couple times I was actually embarrassed for them when they did the halftime show at the Superbowl.

The music was pretty good, but the vocals really lacked quite a bit. But hey...The Who are a rock icon...it's hard to not appreciate them on some level. They are legend! Good bad or indifferent, the audience seemed to enjoy singing along.

And what really made it bad was MTV Classics has been running the The WHo at the Isle of Wright, one of the all time greatest The Who performances ever. Not sure the year, 1972 of 74? Keith Moon was alive though.

They were beyond icons to us. But how many of us can do today what we were doing in 1973????
