This is getting out of control:

Administrators Vigilant At Millard South Dance - Omaha News Story - KETV Omaha (http://www.ketv.com/news/25269067/detail.html - broken link)

Quote:
OMAHA, Neb. -- There's been another crackdown on what some call "dirty dancing" during a weekend homecoming dance. That comes a week after school administrators ended the homecoming dance early at Ralston High School.

Millard South Principal Dr. Curtis Case said he did have to separate a few couples at Saturday night's dance for inappropriate dancing involving touching. He said he didn't have to remove any students from the dance.

Keeping an eye on the 1,200 students at Millard South's homecoming were four police officers, 16 staff and administrators and a handful of parents. The lights were also kept on during most of the night.

But some students took exception to how the dance was handled.

"I can understand if everyone was doing that. But it was just a small group of people. Not everyone was doing it," said freshman Lindsey Wilson.

Wilson and her friend Haley Thiesen said they felt inhibited by all the extra scrutiny at the dance.

Case said students knew what the rules were before coming to Saturday's dance.

Maybe if the schools were more inclined to teach abstinence and good values instead of do what you want, because this is a free country we wouldn't need to police school dances.

Or maybe if students had the integrity to stand up against this kind of behavior in the first place the faculty wouldn't have to crack down.

They can try to crack down on raunchy dancing all they want, but all they are going to encourage are house parties and students boycotting dances. This "dancing" along with other behaviors aren't learned because their parents don't love them enough; they aren't learned because these are some disgusting, hyper-sexually driven adolescents, it is, however, learned from mainstream pop-culture.

I know one thing for sure, this mainstream influence sure as hell isn't going to be changed by a bunch grey haired jelly beans like you see in the video above.

Let 'em dance, as long as their clothes stay on... Simple rule, hands off each other's genetals.
