My fiance and I have an engagement photo session this Monday, which I'd planned to do at the sculpture garden at Joslyn. I drove by today, and as it turns out, it's not much to look at at this time of year. Any ideas of scenic outdoor areas in Omaha for photography sessions? Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Here are my top pics for what you have in mind.
These my be a bit unconventional, but if you want your shots to be like everyone else's... just ignore.

1. 360 Nightclub @ Harra's Casino at night overlooking the Omaha Skyline. The best view of Omaha.

2. The aquarium tunnel HDZ.

3.The outlook point in Council Bluffs, eastside. Your Photographer can shoot with most of CB out of the shot and most of the Omaha skyline in the back ground.

4. Neil Woods Nature center Parking lot. Go up there you'll see.........

5. The Parking garage roof at the airport facing south.

I work downtown I see photo sesions of all the same stuff, GLM, Old Market Tunnel, Ricks Boat Yard.....BORING.

Lauritzen Gardens - Omaha Botanical Center

Lauritzen Gardens might be nice, theres bound to be a few flowering trees, and such to get a few snaps in front of.

Thanks for the suggestions. We ended up doing them at Elmwood Park (in the grotto and surrounding areas). It was great; I'd highly recommend it to anyone who might be looking for a place for an outdoor photo session.
