Do any of the school districts in the Omaha area have a uniform policy, aka every kid wears same colors/style clothing? I've accepted a job in Omaha and will be placing my boys in elementary there. We have uniform policies here in our public schools and it made it sooo easy in the mornings. There was no question about what they would wear.

Outside of religious schools, no. There sadly has been talk of it though, but I don't see large districts like OPS doing it.

I am in the same boat as you. Our public schools enforce uniforms. Personally, I don't like it and will be glad when my boys are able to wear regular clothes to school this fall!

I asked my step-sister the very same last week (in case things had changed since I last lived there). She said no, not that she was aware of. I hope they never do!

There isn't a dress code for OPS I know, but there are regulations. You aren't allowed to have your underwear showing Im 99% sure of.
