I was wondering if anyone knew the status of the Coventry Development at approximately 204th and Q St.

The development looks pretty impressive, but I have seen a distinct lack of progress in the last 6 months or so.

Just wondering if anyone had any personal knowledge of it.

Ya, the no-frills is farther north.

The development is aimed towards a Legacy Village - like area, with a mix of residential and commercial. One very large commercial tenant is in place, with the ACI building.

A handful of houses have been built in the residential area.

I haven't noticed much change in the last 6 months and was just wondering if the project was still on track or if it hit a snag.

I think it hit a snag.

ACI was the initial spark for that development - they committed and built and then that's about the time the market turned so the rest of the development stalled.

I have notice a few more houses going up in the residential section. And there is suppose to be another big tenant named (can't recall the name off hand). But, yeah, other than a few houses I don't see much activity.

The Street of Dreams is scheduled to be out there next year which should give it a big spark.
