I bet that any non-express bus service west of 120th street or down west maple road isnt part of the plan

If you read it you would know that it is a downtown and midtown study so I would bet your right.

There was already a story on this. I wonder why they posted another. Oh, well I guess the first one was saying they were considering it, and now, that they're going to do it.

considering curt simon will never allow a bus route down west maple, I believe your right.

i would love to see the midtown 18 and 13 routes run on sunday the way it does on saturday. I hate the 13 route on sundays.

The study area is bounded by Harney on the south, 10th Street on the east, UNMC on the west and three blocks north of Dodge. It's a very small, specific study area. They say it's not just a streetcar study, but really, it's to decide whether the Harney/Farnam streetcar route is feasable or not.

They really need to make a decision after this study though. Either make the push fro streetcars now and quit the studies. Or move on from the idea and create better alternatives. I am 100% for streetcars in Omaha. I think it is the best thing this city can do at this time, but enough with the studies. Either act on what all the different studies have said(that streetcars would be viable) or drop the issue and improve what we already have.

If in 2 years another streetcar study gets announced I might rip my hair out.

I hope not, otherwise start ripping ur hair out now.

look, a lot of city leaders in Omaha

(a) are full of hot air and broken promises
(b) is really, really slow at getting things done
(c) thinks we the people in omaha have short term memories or are stupid

getting stuff done takes time but these studies are a waste of time if nothing is going to happen
