I don't think either of you have fully got what I was saying.

Either way, fun back and forth.

And I would agree Swarley, I'm certainly in the honeymoon phase, but I've loved what Cali offered for years.

The numerous amounts of places and things they have to offer out weigh what Omaha has.

Of course, if you don't like what LA has to offer, Omaha is a much more of an option to you.

However, through all this, no one can/has given valid reasons for this argument to be wrong:

"Omaha has everything LA has but traffic"

Simply not true.

If you are talking about PREFERENCES, yes, that's a different story.
"Omaha has everything LA has but traffic" is a ridiculous statement.

But that is almost secondary in ridiculousness to your contention that LA is better because of these things. Your entire first post was a LAUNDRY LIST of personal preference items. So I don't see how you can say you aren't arguing it at all.

Yes, I am arguing personal preference. But my personal preferences are safety, security and quality of life. These things are a little less superficial and necessary than mountains, palm trees and the ocean.

The last thing I'll say on the topic is, I think LA is MUCH better than Omaha if you are under 25 and into partying, and Omaha is MUCH better than LA if you are over 25 and have a family.

You are dead wrong. That is ALL you have been arguing! Completely, totally, entirely, 100% personal preference. How is it possible for you to not see that?

But I'm not trying to tell you LA is better than Omaha.

I haven't this whole time.

To JB,

You really need to get a better grip on READING and the content posted.

"100% personal preference. How is it possible for you to not see that?" Seriously. That is fully inaccurate.

Bro, are you kidding?

You made it to the 4th line of your 1st post before you typed this:

"Trust me, the sun shinning off the side of the Saddle Back Mountains is WAYYYYYYYY better than grey clouds or plains."

Maybe it is you who needs to get a better grip on READING the content posted. I mean you can't even keep track of your own statements.

He said it was 100%, Yes in my intial post there are some personal prefences. I haven't said I've ONLY argued facts. Don't use 100% if you can't back that.

Also, I responded to you explaining I'm not arguing if LA is better than Omaha.

Have I ever made that statement?

Again, you are completely and totally wrong. Entirely, 100% wrong. I did not spend 30 years in my "profession" for no reason. I am reading exactly what you are writing, and I am responding to it.

You have thrown out your condescending laundry list of all the reasons you think LA is superior to Omaha. And every single one of them is an opinion. Your opinion.

Yet again, how you can fail to see that is beyond me.

Using 100% and EVERY makes you look silly.

Especially since I never used the word superior.

Professional Sports teams are not opinions. Along with many OTHER examples of OPTIONS.

What is your profession. I hope it's not teacher.

Does Omaha have a professional Basketball team? No. LA does. So the intial statement: "Omaha has everything LA has minus traffic" is false.

No opinions there.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

100% of the things you mentioned, as examples of how LA is superior to (or in your words, "far better") than Omaha are OPINIONS. YOUR opinions.

Is living near a mountain better than not? That's a matter of opinion. Is having a professional sports team in your city better than not having one? That's a matter of opinion. Is living near the ocean better than being surrounded by fertile farm ground? That's a matter of opinion. Is living in a semi-arid region better than living in a more humid area? That's a matter of opinion. Is living in a bigger city better than living in a smaller city? That's a matter of opinion.

It just happens that I am a teacher, and at a level of education you will never achieve. That having been said, you have failed this assignment. Miserably.

Good to see you have such good character.

You have ZERO ability to know how high my education goes. But glad you are so quick to insult and attack a person on a personal level. Yet you are so accomplished.

Feel good? You shouldn't.

Where's the opinion?

100% means all, not most.
