out of all the bus routes that meet at NOTC at 30th and ames, I know them or have taken them all except the 34 and the 26.

p.s. I avoid the 35 route.

only route that goes to NOTC I dont ever take. it is the longest route between downtown and NOTC out of the 18 and 24 and 30 and 35 routes.

love the 25 and 8 and 3 and 18 routes btw.

the 13 bus route can take u to 50th and l.

Bus Route 13 - Omaha Metro

you can get within blocks of 50th and L by taking the 3 bus route.

Bus Route 3 - Omaha Metro

Billie. . If we ever get a bus system that I can use. . I'll be looking to you for guidance on how to use it. With this talk about Omaha trying to be mini-Chicago, maybe the next step should be an elaborate public transport system.

This must be as good a place as any to ask: What do you think Metro should focus on the most? Improving stops (adding new shelters, more route information, and pavement between the sidewalk and the street, more/improving current transit centers) or should they focus on the routes themselves (adding more frequent service or more coverage)?

improving the routes and impriving shelters. I mean the 3 is been really good since it expanded back in 2010 to south omaha Metro college.

Walmart says Papillion site out - Omaha.com

Walmart says Papillion site out

quote:

But Walmart officials told The World-Herald this week that they have decided not to pursue the Papillion site near 84th Street and Nebraska Highway 370. Area business owners have criticized the proposed market site as the anchor of a new commercial development, Midlands Place.

"We believe this project will not fit our Every Day Low Price business model," said Ryan Irsik, a spokesman for Walmart.

Yet, not too far away, Walmart has a La Vista site at 96th Street and Giles Road on its radar, Irsik also confirmed this week.

Lansky's has been there for almost 20 years now and has two other locations in the metro as well. I think it's safe to say they have proven their staying power.
