properties . i worked more than a few years at the ASARCO plant . i moved before they closed down . i must say the property looks very nice now .
my question is that i know that both properties were polluted quite bad . how were they cleaned up .

I think that they were capped with cement. Topsoil was then put over it. That is why there are no trees.

Both were cleaned up basically like laserdisque described. I agree, the 2 areas are totally different and are beneficial to downtown.
Here's what was done to cleanup ASARCO.

Now all we need is a 2nd restaurant on the riverfront. I am tired of the Rick's Boatyard monopoly.
