Brewery to Open in the Former Rick's Boatyard Restaurant - www.kmtv.com

Quote:
The door of a popular Omaha restaurant will open once again. Thursday Storz Brewing Company announced they have taken up the lease of the vacant Rick's Boatyard.

The Brewing giant will renovate the 19,000 square-foot bar and restaurant and rename it the Storz Trophy Room Grill & Brewery.

The brewer will work with a Nebraska craft brewer to brew Storz brand beers and be available exclusively throughout Nebraska.

The restaurant is scheduled to open November 15th.

Storz products will launch August 18th at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Polish Festival and will be featured at other state events such as the Cox Classic in Omaha, the Great Nebraska Beer Festival in Papillion and the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island.
More good news for Omaha. The vacant Rick's was an eyesore in a high visibility area. Hopefully this restaurant won't suck and will have more of a draw.

What does it mean it Storz beer will be available exclusively throughout Nebraska? Are they refusing to sell it outside Nebraska? Either way, I'd take a Budweiser over Storz 10 times out of 10.

It is craft beer with the Storz name. Not the old Storz recipe.
