Omaha/council bluffs roads
Dodge street seems to get bad 156th st & I-680
I-80 gets bad by 72nd & I-480.
I-680 is bad by I-80 & Dodge street.
L street is bad by the Kennedy Freeway & I-80.
I-480's only slow downs are right when you get to I-80 & defintly has the prettiest views but has a lot of wreaks.
I-29 hardly has any traffic but tends to have a lot of construction.

I've never seen traffic in Omaha as bad. But, then I'm comparing it to Los Angeles and Philadelphia. Sure, the occasional accident can slow things down, and there may be road repairs. But, traffic will still move along at a good pace. Am I wrong? Where does one regularly experience stop and go traffic during commute hours here?

People that think Omaha traffic is bad have no experience in any of the worst 100 metropolitan traffic areas in the country.

Omaha traffic is actually pretty light compared to the rest.

It seems like there are a lot of bottlenecks, especially out by the mall, starting around 3:30ish. When I'm over there for business, I try to be back on I-80 by 4:00 pm at the latest.
