Can anyone identify the school that use to sit on the corner of Chandler Rd and S 28th St in Bellevue? I'm not sure if it was part of the Omaha PS or Bellevue PS system. Its mailing address was 7616 S. 28th Street, Bellevue, NE 68147.

At some point, in the late 1970's or early 1980's it was sold by the district. It traded hands between one or more private schools and ended up its latter years as an apartment complex. It was razed and bulldozed in Aug/Sept 2014.

I'm curious of the orig construction date and school's original name when it was part of BPS or OPS.

I remember years past driving by the school however I can’t remember the name. I do know it’s in the Omaha School District area and not Bellevue. Omaha city limits can’t cross Harrison street the county line but school districts are different and can.

Default School

The name of the school was Pleasant Hill Elementary School. I went there from 1957 to 1959. I was a second and third grader there. The school was kindergarten to 8th grade. If you need anymore information you can contact my at rickdesterhouse@gmail.com.
