I stopped in there the other day for a 1/2 loaf of garlic bread ....................still 2.75 (BEST DEAL IN TOWN).

Talked with Bob Orsi Jr and he is totally remodeled the place and is planning on opening an Italian Market along with great Pizza and Breads.

The majority of is wares are going to be imported from NYC and New Jersey.

Olives, Cheeses, Meats, Pastas, Spices and everything in between.

One thing we talked about is the Stick Pepperoni, just like I used to buy in NY.
I cannot wait till the grand opening.

I have been getting their products from the grocery shelf, but will make a stop over there this week. Thanks for the reminder!

We visited Orsi's earlier this month, while we were in town to move our daughter home from college. We loved it! She is very excited about introducing the pizza from this fantastic bakery to her college friends when she goes back in the fall.
The new home/townhome construction in the Little Italy area is also impressive.

I was just in there today 05-22-08, Bob has the Deli counter in and is selling freshly made sausage (in the coil) just like the way they sell it in NY, Deli Meats, Olives, Cheese,
roasted peppers along with his fresh breads and pizza's.

I am really excited about this place finally Omaha has an authentic Italian Deli. It's all new freshly remodeled bright and the smells from the ovens are just like grandma's kitchen.
