for some reason Omaha is a lot slower

than other cities that are smaller than Omaha

when it comes to getting tv channels

but does

anyone know if Omaha will ever have a broadcast station for

Retro TV Network or LATV or Daystar Television Network on broadcast here in Omaha.

cause we dont get those channels here.

I know this is all there is for broadcast stations in Omaha but we could have some more (like Des Moines does)

3.1- cbs
3.2- (blank channel)

6.1- nbc
6.2- nbc olympics channel (formerly 620)

7.1- abc
7.2- KETV weather now

15.1- cw
15.2- spanish channel

26.1 to 26.3- pbs stations

32.1 to 32.3- pbs stations

42.1- fox
42.2- my network tv

(channels 48 and 53 and 61 are all low powered singals, wish they went digital so you could get them

even though KOHA channel 48 is nothing but a test pattern)

update

meTV recently came to 7.2 (on sept. 1st)

(Rawhide airs late night on meTV

(BATMAN airs on saturday evenings on meTV

live well network is coming to channel 3.2 as of this saturday

AND:

cox just added daystar on channel 156,

so likely KOHA 47.1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KOHA-LP is officially dead (KOHA channel 47/48 has been inactive since 2007,w as bought in 2009 and hasnt ever been used.

should have had Telemundo or Family Net http://www.familynet.com/ bought the channel instead. at least KOHA could have been used to air something.

update on KOHA

KOHA-LP - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A construction permit for digital broadcasting as KOHA-LD, digital channel 47, was allowed to expire on July 12, 2010.

in September 2011, Word of God Fellowship aka Daystar TV filed a new application with the FCC to flash-cut to digital broadcasting on channel 48.

This application was approved on October 6, 2011 and will expire on September 1, 2015.

hopefully now KOHA will happen.

hopefully btw, Azteca America on 15.2 will become MundoFox

MundoFox will include sports programming produced by Fox Deportes, notably UFC mixed martial arts events

i am bringing that up cause WBWT-LP/38 in Milwaukee Wisconsin will switch from Azteca America to MundoFOX when the new network launches next month across the country
