Ive just been diagnosed with hypogonadism at 23 (sad) and need a good doctor to help with all these hormone issues. Im looking for someone to look at not just throwing a testosterone shot ast me and calling it good. Preferably a doc you have visited that listens to you and has a well rounded approach?

Thanks all!

Nebraska Medical Center comes to mind, or Creighton.

I don't know of any to recommend, and I suppose you already know this, but the specialist you should be looking for is an endocrinologist.

Really don't know how the treatment is for that particular disease, but I see Dr. Shivaswamy and Dr. Mack (both endocrinologists) at UNMC for a thyroid issue, and unlike the 3 other doctors that I have been to, they actually wanted to find out what my levels were before throwing around medication changes. You will need a physician referral to get in down there, but they are worth the extra work to see. I highly recommend them. Good luck.
