They had the "Kiddie Coaster" and the "Galaxy", later the "Galaxy Orbit" after they added the tunnel section. The Galaxy coaster was sold in the auction to Palace Playland in Maine:

Galaxi (Palace Playland)

They didn't keep the tunnel section.

Someone has plans. It's just on indefinate hold due to finances and they don't have a spot for it. They were talking about not just making a themepark, but a whole entertainment district of sorts. With both an indoor and outdoor amusement park and shopping, concerts, etc.

So what's with the "Wild Mouse"? That roller coaster is definitely the one I remember. Did they change the name after they moved it or is my memory just totally out to lunch on this one?

He tried, even started breaking ground, but then it failed. They can't ever seem to get the funds lined up.

He wants to build many "Wild Escapes". I think they would all be very similar. He basically sits on these grandois plans and waits for someone to bite. Unfortunately, many of the proposed locations don't have theme parks already, because of a lack of state funding toward tourism and development. So in most cases, he's waiting on legislature for funding. It may be awhile.

Well. I suppose it's possible. I don't recall the kids roller coaster ever having a name other than "Kiddie Coaster". But I could be out to lunch too.

"Wild Mouse" typically describes a type of roller coaster with many design variants. Many of the parks, maybe from lack of creativity just go ahead and name the ride "Wild Mouse". Some parks change it up.

Here are some pictures, as promised. Some of the photos are from the book "Images of America Omaha's Peony Park an American Legend" by Carl D Jennings.
