the Omaha World Herald has become a joke

you have for instance a World Herald Staff Writer named Pospisil who is also a spokesman for Omaha Benson High School (conflict of intrest?) shows that some of it's reporters are biased

the OWH's obession with pimping Warren Buffett and Conor Oberst and other local "celebrities"

rather than reporting on real news is another reason the Omaha World Herald is dying as a newspaper.

I don't blame the World-Herald for cutting the length of your letter and I'm not sure it lost anything in translation. Your post sounds like the leftover diatribes against business that were popular during the Carter years and gave the country gas price controls and long lines at the gas pump. If you think oil companies are so awesomely powerful, why was the refining business so abjectly poor for more than a decade? Was that part of the master plan of a monopolist or something? Maybe instead of blaming Bucky's you should lay part of the blame on Chuck Hagel and the other dolts that represent us. They've required so many blends of gasoline that refining capacity couldn't always keep up. And isn't there a whole developing world out there that's putting pressure on energy prices? I'm sure that's been covered in the World-Herald.
