How cold is it getting in Omaha? I thought I read last night that it was suppose to dip down to -24. Not to mention a wind to go along with it. When I got off work, I looked again, and the weather channel is forecasting -23 for tonights low. I'm a HUGE Husker fan who lives up here in Anchorage, but grew up in Omaha. I don't think I ever seen temp's like that as a kid.

It didn't get as cold last night as they said it would. Also, when I went out this morning at about 6:00 AM, it wasn't windy - as they said it would be.

Right now it's zero degrees, though they had predicted it would get to -18 tonight.

It has been a BRUTAL winter so far. Most of the "natives" that I talk to can't remember a winter this bad.

On the bright side, they're forecasting temperatures in the low 30s by next week. We'll see if that actually pans out.

I know that they forecasted that, but it's currently -1 degree. The only thing that will make the temperature drop that much is if the clouds clear out and/or there's a front move in.

It'll be interesting to see what happens by morning.
