My company I work for has an opening in North Papilion or on N120th (stonegate area). Which is a nicer neighborhood. Considering living in Millard area. Is this too long of a commute. I now live in Bismarck, ND. I drive 8 miles to work and takes about 15 minutes. This seems like nothing to me.

Papillion (
City of Papillion )... by far the best... it was listed (Money Magainze?) a few years ago as one of the top 25 places in the nation to live... I don't think any other area in Nebraska, including Omaha, made the list.
It has one of the lowest (maybe the lowest) city tax rates in the metropolitan area...
They've been doing a lot of great changes to the parks. they have a great amphitheatre with a community band and a community theatre group. A great new outdoor shopping complex and town centre. You don't have to leave Papillion anymore when you go out for an evenining (except for a movie, but the shopping complex is getting one of those too).
Great youth sports programs - a variety of churches and civic organizations.
They have a spring time city gathering that runs for 4 or 5 days with a big parade and carnival.
Very friendly. We love it.

Both the Stonegate area of West Omaha and pretty much all of Papillion are very nice areas. If you are looking in to live in Millard, Papillion would be closer and you would not have to contend with as much traffic.
