Lol, thx. I know better than to stereotype the entire area as I described also, just providing an alternative to the writings of Thomas Frank.

Crimeland encourages a disgusting culture which has since decreased property values; supports no learning and cannot afford the brand; hears plenty of screams and cries which will further fuel more violence and fatten the strength of the gangs and drug pushers; a society of rebellion and crime expressed through gang tagging, baggy pants around the ankles and dirty, trashy, womanizing rap music. You know what it’s like because you’ve seen it on COPS. Drug shops under the guise of barber shops. Boarded up buildings. Spray painted bridges and overpasses. Absolutely no commerce to speak of. It’s greatest civic holiday is any day that goes by without a homicide – an event so inspirational to the Crimeland mind they are able to justify the existence of such a grungy and morally inept neighborhood they live in.”

As described by me, trying to be just as judgemental and intolerant as the inner city residents.

Well no, not really. But the venom and racial bigotry were both there. I guess you had me confused for a minute.

That's really hurtful. It may take me a few weeks to get over this...

If it'll help make you feel better, you can go to the Churches thread and start making unjustified attacks on churches you know absolutely nothing about, regarding issues you're dead wrong about.

Thanks for any/all suggestions and advice.

Everything is perfect, you should have no problem finding a safe secure place for you and your family. We have a very low crime rate, low taxes, good roads, good schools, a great Mayor, nice Talk Show Hosts(PBL), and soon 3 baseball parks. Omaha is wonderfull. Put a push pin on your Google Earth map.

That's ok, pissed off cristians are CRAZZZYYY!!

For what it's worth, I do know what it's like to live east of 72nd. I've lived near 40th and Leavenworth and I've lived downtown for a couple years. That is why I later said I "knew better than to sterotype the are" like I did. There are great areas all over Omaha, including east fo 72nd.
