I don't tend to leave things in my car. Sometimes you kind of have to, but I at least try to put them out of sight, so nobody is tempted by seeing stuff in plain view.

I know a guy that leaves his CD case right on the front seat of his car and he parks downtown! He's been doing it for years and never had a problem. At the same time I know a guy that left his cheapo Walmart stereo in his car, in his own driveway, and it got stolen.

It's weird that some people get hit and others don't.
