He didn't plant the bomb either. None of the evidence pointed to him but the OPD framed him for it because of his affiliations. I've actually researched this a bit and talked to people with first hand information and he is innocent.

You know... I have a really good friend who is a former state penitentiary inmate, who turned his life around by becoming a Christian. This guy laughs about the "he is innocent" comments, because EVERY inmate claims they are innocent.


I'll admit that I don't know, because I was not there. But apparently there is enough evidence that he IS guilty to keep him behind bars.

was OJ innocent? because if so...then obviously this man is guilty because the courts say so

Do I think he killed those people, yes. but due to the process of justice not being upheld he was able to be found innocent. So even a killer can be found innocent, and an innocent man can be guilty of murder. Neither case is right but the system supports both extremes of injustice so it's not out of the realm of possibility for an innocent person to be incarcerated if even murders can be set free.

I think our progress in racial issues is largely due to simple familiarity. I'm fortunate that all 3 of our kids grew up amidst racial diversity. They grew up going to school with Hispanics, Latinos, Blacks, a few Asians, and even recent immigrants. It's interesting, because none of them even seem to notice racial differences. They're so accustomed to being around it.

I think THAT is where & how the real progress in race relations is going to happen. Simple familiarity.

Sigh* that's kind of narrow reason for why AA's voted for Barack Obama...
Maybe it was because
-he understands their issues
-he had a better platform and ideas
-they thought McCain was a dope and incompetent fool along with his vp choice...

Sure, that could very well be.

Or it could be that they had absolutely no clue whatever about any of that, and they simply voted for Obama because he's black. There are a lot of them that said that's why they voted for him.
