Where do you think white people should move?
More welcoming to white Americans thinking of moving to the OC? Are you kidding me? I'm as white as you get (and so is my wife and daughter) and I think it is the BAD ATTITUDE and sense of entitlement a lot of the whites have around here (speaking of HB/NB area out of personal experience) that can be a big turn off. I feel like I live in a oversized high school. I do not "dress to impress" when I go out and get the paper, I do not have a DUI like every third white guy in my age range around here, I have no trust fund, and I do not blindly follow the latest trends based on what I see on MTV....so therefore I have been made to feel very "unwelcome" mainly by other whites even though I am a native and most of the transient community here is not.

So I guess it all depends. If you like to buy into the white people BS around here then please stay near the coast. If you don't, then who gives a rat's rear end where you live?

Yes adult white men in Orange Country get their sense of fashion from MTV and are all drunks.

Oh that's too bad, how about moving to Idaho? Nobody can afford cable or cars there so you don't have to worry about MTV or DUIs.

I'll bite at the OP's question.

I've never been to OC, but having grown up in San Jose among mostly Latinos and Asians, most of whom were racists, myself being the object of that racism, I'd say that being in a mostly-white city must be a luxury.

So, white people, go forth and live with other white people, unless you want to live with nonwhite people's racism.

I have lived all around and as an American of Hispanic descent...OC will always be the most racist place I have ever lived in. That includes Long Beach, San Diego, San Francisco, Tempe, Washington D.C., Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and New York City.

I have never been called a "saltwater wetb_ck" right to my face. I have never been asked if I speak English by a cashier at Starbucks. I have never been told that "all Mexicans are stupid" right to my face at work, until I lived in OC.

OC can rot in hell, I hope illegals take over your entire county.
Do you read these forums very much? I don't think you know our friend Fontucky very well, if I am reading this post correctly.

I believe this thread is totally tongue-in-cheek, given that in other threads Fontucky has posted his location and situation (in South Fontana surrounded by good neighbors that just happen to be brown).

It seems to me a spoof on people that ask questions such as "what kind of neighborhood is good for a mixed-race couple?" or "where should (fill in the blank) live?"

I'm sorry for your personal experience in Orange County, but to wish a place of three million people something so severe indicates that YOU have a serious problem.

Ta da! It's a spoof alright, but it's a spoof on this topic.

I simply wanted to see how long it would take for the "you're a racist!" posts to pop up versus the other thread. I wasn't disappointed.

It's also worth noting that many white people who came to this country were not English speakers and that they had to learn the language too. So "whatever."
And this wasn't in reference to them, stop flipping balls.

Dang! They won't let me rep you again. I knew what you were doing and knew the previous thread that prompted it.

Perhaps when the memory of the board fades I should start one about hicks, hillbillys and rednecks in OC instead of the "Hills of Beverly" and see what transpires.

LOL. I saw that other post, and yours was almost word for word what was in there. But no one insinuated that OP was racist. Hmmmm...............

It's all fabricated anyway. None of the things he claims ever happened.
