I still say anyone driving a Prius is just a passive aggressive eco-snob.

And you, being the authority on absolutely everything as you are, would have to be right about them.

Btw, BMW is Bavarian made.

Anyhow, seriously though, I have not yet noticed or heard such a common trait typically shown by drivers of German made cars.

Although, the Car Talk guys have said on occasion that Jetta drivers are all crazy.

Having driven to downtown yesterday, alone (no carpool lane for me!) and during the worst part of the morning, I have to say I'm glad I don't have to do it daily. I generally try to schedule things so I can head north after 10 am, when it's less congested.

I did get to listen to Jack Black talk, though. That made the drive worth it.

I live in the garden grove / westminster / fountain valley area and usually go to monterey park for the good food a few times a week on the weekends. 30 mile drive, takes anywhere from 30 minutes (no traffic) to about an hour (worst timing so far.) It's an easy drive along the 605.. avoiding the 5 makes a huge difference.. that freeway always seems to be backed up, both directions, weekend or weekday, day or night.

Having to work there is a another story..

Honestly, Sunset blvd before the Hollywood area is really bad curves wise... the day that i took the wrong turn and went towards the Pacific Palisades area... wow. Have any of you guys driven on Sunset a few miles before Beverly Hills? It's pretty scary and there are only two lanes. And so are parts of Cahuenga.

I've never been to Malibu. Can anyone tell me, from Hollywood towards Malibu on PCH, is it as curvy as Sunset??? It can't be THAT bad/hard cause I know Britney Spears drives that way all the time...
