hi all,
We're moving from San Diego to Laguna Niguel fairly soon here, and I'm wondering about reputable moving companies in this area.... When I lived in the Midwest, I used a company called "two men and a truck" for a couple of local moves... they were great -- efficient, fairly cheap, and the movers were decent hard-working people (men AND women), not chain-smokers who you sometimes suspected had been ex-cons...
Is there anything like "two men and a truck" in southern California? We don't really want to use a huge company like Atlas or North American. We don't have much stuff to move, and we'll be packing everything up ourselves, but we do need someone to pack the truck up for us and do the driving.
Any and all recommendations are welcome (and I'm also not averse to hearing moving horror stories either
Thanks in advance.

Full Service Moving | Nice Jewish Boy Moving & Storage Solutions

They might sound reputable but they (and just about everyone else) hire guys who look like hells angels or guys they picked up on skid row.

Maybe if you're lucky, your wife won't be missing any underwear either.

One of the major storage companies (can't remember which one) will deliver what they call "pods" that you load up yourself with your belongings. They will either take it to your new home or to a storage facility.

Maybe someone else here will know the name of the company.

Smile Affordable Moving & Storage

I have used these guys and also referred them to some friends who used them. They are licensed & insured, reliable, careful, with reasonable pricing and work all of California.

(I found them on Yelp the first time.)
