Anyone know of a person who throws Tie-Dye Parties? I want to host a party for 20-30 people, including both kids and adults. There used to be a service in San Diego that did this type of thing - Tie-Dye Party 2u - Children's Party in San Diego CA, but I can't seem to reach them and their website isn't loading so I think they might have gone out of business.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

Why do you need a service to do that? How hard is it to do yourself?

I guess I shouldn't be asking this. I've seen services that pick up dog poop in your backyard and services that wrap you christmas gifts for you.

Every hippie I knew used bleach, Ritz dye and a big ol' washtub.

I expect that you probably are trying to avoid having to ask your guests to wear old clothes to avoid possibly staining their good clothes? Have you seen the newer style tie-dye kits that provide a clear plastic tube for the process? You stuff the object you are going to dye into the tube and squirt the dye thru small holes along the length of the tube. I've found them at the large craft stores, like Michael's. They're fairly inexpensive. I believe that I've even seen them at Walmart too. Also, you may want to collect up some oversized old tshirts to offer your guests to put on over their clothes. A search on the internet will show some great new techniques and patterns to use.
