What about going west on Rosecrans or Imperial Highway to the 605N, then taking 60W? Is the local drive on Rosecrans or Imperial busy during rush hour going West? More and more, after looking at more homes, I think I am set on Fullerton.

Go to where you want to live in Fullerton some morning, have breakfast and then make the drive to work from there. See what you think. Fullerton is a nice city for the most part. I have friends who have lived there for well over 30 years and they love it. The downtown is nice - if a little rowdy sometimes and there is every necessity close by.

Good luck!

From Gilbert/Malvern your original route is going to be a whole lot of stop and go. But so is Rosecrans or Imperial. You might just as well take Beach over the hill. At least it's sort-of scenic. Part of the problem is Gilbert/Malvern isn't close to a freeway. You're going to spend a lot of time on surface streets. If you are starting at G/M I would not take the 57 north. You're going too far east and taking up way too much time. That won't work at all IMO.

Anyplace else you're looking?
