When we lived in OC, our friends from Eagle Rock came to visit us. They had first gone to a hotel to check in, came and ate supper with us and went back to the hotel to go back to the "city" in the morning. We still laugh about it.

To be perfectly honest... I used to be one of those people I was bitching about during all those decades I lived in the Southern part of OC.

Like a previous poster said: It is just a friendly "rivalry." This does not include all the homes east of the 5 from Pico (above the high school) on south, just the "new" communities like Talega and The Coast (hardly new, that neighborhood went in in the early 80's). Nobody I know has any true disdain for people in these neighborhoods.
