Orange has some great areas.

Old town is like a quaint old fashioned town that got lost in the 1950s. Loads of antiques stores. Lots of great shops and restaurants. Very walkable. Beautiful historic homes. People are really friendly lots of neat community events. Great churches. Mediochre schools, but not bad.

Orange Park Acres. Horse country. Lots of 1 acre lots. Expensive. Into the millions. Really nice if yu have the money.

Villa Park. Another pricey place. Big homes, decent sized lots, Amazing swimming pools. Very pleasant.

Foothills. Hit and miss out here. Semi rural. nice views. Some horse properties.

Persoanlly Old town Orange and Silverado Canyon are my favorite places. Seal beach is fabulous too, but expensive.

I was born and raised in Eastside Costa Mesa. I've travelled all around the globe and I'll tell you there is no better weather in the world. The ocean is 15 minutes away and the snow is 90 minutes away. The restaurants serve just about every type of cuisine in the world and use high quality ingredients. Most of all the track homes from the 70s have been remodeled to suit individual preferences. Its a great place for growing plants and beautiful gardens.[mod]Advertising[/mod]
Children that are educated in local public schools go on to study at all types of colleges. Both my brother and I went to UC colleges. Best of luck, whatever you decide, your life here is going to be great
