Hello,

I am moving all the way from North Carolina to Lake Forest, CA for a job. I am 25 years old, single and no kids. My job is located in Lake Forest and I am looking to find a place with rent of no more than $1,250/month (after those hidden fees and whatnot)

What would you recommend to live apartment wise? Westridge Apartments are something that has caught my eyes, especially due to only being a 2 minute drive to new my job. It seems affordable and right in my price range but I have read a few reviews about hidden costs being tacked on after the first and maintenance problems. I also see that it is one of the largest ones out there and that I understand most people who write reviews only do so when something negative happens, not when they are happy or content with where they live.

What would be your recommendation on an apartment (1 Bedroom/bath or Studio) that would be the best in that price range of $1,250 or less?

Thank you very much!

I don't know about those apartments specifically, but that is a nice area of Lake Forest. A few parts of town are a little older or more run-down than others; the newer, often nicer parts are away from the freeway, toward the foothills. Westridge apartments are up the hill a bit. My husband's godparents live in that neighborhood.
