Familiarize yourself with the following:

"Late night and early morning low clouds and fog along the coast". That's a So Cal weather reporter's chant.

San Clemente used to be rated as the most temperate climate in the U.S. In other words the temps vary little on average. I say used to because I checked the stats before I moved to California in 1986. I moved to Dana Point at the time.

I think Long Beach might be warmer right at the beach than other beach cities, for some reason. Maybe due to it facing south instead of west/SW? I don't know, but it always seemed a bit warmer to me than other beach cities.

I lived in the City of Orange (maybe 8 miles inland) and it got into the low 80s all summer on average, with a nice level of humidity. Rarely above 90. It was still very subject to "June Gloom", which I personally liked. It was like free A/C to me.

So what is the humidity in FV like in winter/summer?
Whats the best place to go on Orange or San Diego with Highish Humidity high 70's- medium 80's as a high in the summer and 40-50 as a low in the winter?
