Can anyone tell me about Soco Walk condos in Downtown Fullerton? I am looking to buy and have been hearing things about gang activities and abundance of homeless in the area. I am in my mid 20's young professional so I would definitely like the idea of being close to all of the bars. I hope to find the same demographic in the area if I were to pursue.

It's a decent area, and you will probably like it a lot if you are a young professional that is into bars and restaurants. There are of course some homeless people, and a few bar fights etc, but it is not a bad area by any means. Just pay attention to your surroundings at night and you will be fine. Although there are gangs in Fullerton, I think you will be alright because they mostly operate in other parts of town.

Seems to me the bigger issue would be train noise. The development sits againsts a very busy freight and passenger route. Maybe the builders ultra-insulated for the noise, I don't know, but I imagine your pictures would be shaking on the walls a few times a day.

I used to live a few blocks away to the North (Lemon and Wilshire), and it was pretty loud even from that distance. But then again I sort of liked the sound of the trains, so whatever.
