Anyone live in Crystal Cove? Is that just ONE developed gated community that I see on the map?

I'm curious as to how much the HOA fees are.

Any other info, good or bad, about living there?

As far as being that close on the water, yes, Crytal Cove is just that one development. It is down the hill from me, I'm in Pacific Ridge. CC is a great development, it feels like you are away from the city and has a quite casual feel about it. There is a number of decent restaurants there in the shopping center, some clothing stores and a Trader Joe's. Mastro's Ocean club is nice and Javiers has great Mexican food. I like to go down the hill for a nice quite breakfast early on Saturday and have a scone and a tea. It is not at all touristy and I think, especially given the views, a great place to live.

The only negative is having a very busy PCH between you and the beach, but the convenience of the shopping plaza and restaurants makes up for it. YMMV.

Hope this helps.
