A homeless person with zero net worth has a higher net worth than thousands of Orange County homeowners who are underwater and who likely have a negative net worth.

All of you are so clever and whimsical when discussing the plight of the homeless. I hope none of you ever find yourself in his predicament.

I didn't read too many nasty or unkind comments against homeless people in this thread.

Easy to "lighten up" when you're not sleeping on the streets, pissing yourself and eating out of dumpsters. Something to think about Gertrude.

Since I was homeless once, I guess I m OK?

Hey, I don't think anyone was that offensive with their comments. Then again, there is always someone who is a tad too eager to get offended, right?

Having worked with homeless people frequently and more recently connected with a high school friend who lives in a shelter, I can tell you homeless people actually have a sense of humor as well. They are not all dry dour and sad. IN fact some of them are downright happy, jovial and even funny.
