Thanx.
I just finished traffic school for almost exactly the same thing. I was on the 241 toll, and he caught me right where it turned into Jamboree going 82 at the 65 max zone. My bail/ticket was $248.50, or $272.50 if I wanted to go to traffic school, which I just completed. This was my first and only ticket ever in 30 years of driving. It shoud be close to that I would think.

I got pulled over like 3 times in a six month period. One in Fullerton, the other in Buena Park, and the last in Anaheim. I wasn't even speeding either.

Hope you took my advice and demanded a verified complaint because if you did not you wasted your money and time !

I went to court and had it reduced...No KY necessary.I can't remember now, but, it was somewhere under $100.

Haha, thanks! It was actualy alot cheaper, I think they might have charged me less because it was 80 or under? I think the speed is what dictates the value.

after talking to a bajillion people, someone finally told us that we could write a letter with a $10 check to the judge explaining our situation and the late charge was dropped.

thats my California traffic ticket story...
Yeah, they don't mess around with late fee's!

What happened when u went to court? I just got a speeding ticket last nite going 80 on the 55 freeway at 1:30 am (NO ONE around, except the chippie). Obviously, I'd prefer to pay as little as possible. Thanks!
