Hi there, gotta a question about our weather today for people familiar with other parts of the country...

So right now it's warm, cloudy and "sprinkly"... I guess for So Cal it's a bit humid?
Weather dot com says it's 71 degrees, the humidity is at 68 and the dew point is 60.

Hubby and I just came back from a brisk walk in it, (early evening) and it felt a bit eerie, but I liked it.
I felt a little asthma was kicking in, but then I "walked through it" and was fine and didn't have to use my inhaler at all.

Just felt a little different from what I'm used to here, and was wondering from folks who've lived in more places in the country than I where this kind of weather might be more prevalent? Might this feel like a spring or fall day in the South with mild humidity? Or maybe the Midwest? Yeah, I know, I don't get out much! LOL!

Thanks!

(if you happen to read this in coming days, I'm writing this on Wednesday July 10th)

Kinda weird post, ya I know!

While walking to lunch I commented to someone that the weather reminded me of Houston in early April. Fortunately I will never have to compare our weather to Houston in July or August.

Weather is strange, isn't it? I love it, though. It keeps trying to rain. I hear loud drops hitting my wood roof in the early morning and then it stops after I run out to bring my daughter's bike inside. Hope it stays like this.

Hi, thanks for the reply... okay, so that's interesting. So this would be Houston mild then? We were in Houston in March visiting relatives and felt the tiniest bit of humidity, well, the air just felt different I would say. But it didn't have the mugginess going yet. From what I've heard it's hard to breath in Houston during the summer months! Yikes!

Anyway, I really don't mind this so much as it is now, the cloud cover is nice.
