Hi everyone,

I'm staying in Westminster, CA for a few months and would like to ask for some help regarding the morning traffic conditions to Anaheim. Can anyone tell me the morning traffic conditions for the, 22E, 57N and 55N, before 8am? I'm traveling from Westminster to Anaheim. Thank you!

That is generally not the direction most people are going, so probably should not be that bad unless there is a crash. If you can, try looking at the freeways during rush hour on sigalert.com to see what they are like.

You can also check google maps and change the time of day so that you can see how the flow typically is before 8:00 on each of those routes.

The 22E to 57N connector can be tough during busy times. If the freeways become difficult, can always take surface streets as an alternate. Westminster to Anaheim not that far, although judging from the OP, the east part of town or Anaheim Hills might be the destination, in which case surface streets would be a pretty good trip.

When I lived in Westminster (22 and Beach) and had to get to work in Orange (Katella & 57) by 8 AM, boy, that morning traffic was awful. This was before the carpool lanes were completed on the 22, but I'm sure it doesn't make a difference. I tried the side streets (mainly Trask) and that was congested too.

What part of Anaheim do you need to get to? Maybe you can take the streets--except Beach Blvd., which is so busy. I've gone to the western parts of Anaheim before and remember it not being so bad at all using side streets.

Do the smart thing, move a to within a block of work. It was the most sanity saving thing I ever did.
