Rental Apartment near ALISO VIEJO (Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel: 2013, apartments, movies)

Hi All,

I would be moving to AV California during December 2013 with my wife. Can anyone suggest me what would be the best bet on rented apartments(1 bed 1 bath or a spacious studio) I can get , I can afford a commute time of 10-15 min.

Please advice and let me know.

I lived at Alicante for six years. Very nice place, modest (if any) rent increases, manicured grounds, neighbors pretty quiet. All-around a lovely place. After we had kids, we moved to St. Moritz, which we like even better because the units are much larger, but the price is a little higher as well. I love Aliso Viejo, it's a great place.

Thanks for your reply Sofreudian..Could you please tell me what's the approx rent for 1BHK apartment in Alicante...I checked in few websites and I found it to be $1500+..frankly I am looking for a place to stay for around $1000-1150 and which may be a bit far from Aliso Viejo...I would be working at Enterprise,AV..

I second Sofreudian's recommendations. For one, if you lived at St. Moritz, you would be able to walk to work, to the movies, grocery stores, etc. and save bundles on car expenses. Alicante is also very nice. Still, I know they are both above your budget.

Try Alicia Plaza at 25212 Stockport in Laguna Hills. It has older, but renovated, units. The complex is about 2 miles from your new office and rents supposedly start at about $1,190.

Thanks Pacific2 for your response, I have started my search and have identified 3 major areas for exploration:
1. Mission Viejo
2. Laguna Hills
3. Laguna Niguel

I am now concentrating on right price in 5-7 miles vicinity from my workplace as I would also be having a Car. I will start searching for car dealers in the area as well.
