I'll bet the doctor who testified that Thomas developed "psychosis and a weak, enlarged heart brought on by years of drug abuse which lead to the death" swayed the jury. Drug addicts don't elicit much sympathy anymore.

A lot of police are basically thugs themselves. Especially LA county sheriffs. There are some great cops, but the type of person who becomes a cop is often a power hungry and violent. Much like the military, police is the legal way for psychos to carry out their aggressions.

I'm stunned they got away with it. It's awful and he deserved justice. Hopefully the Feds will move forward and charge them with a federal violation. It makes my heart hurt that he cried out for his dad right before he died.

Great job OC jury, the only thugs are the ones wearing the color of crips and bloods. Everyone is getting sick of coddling these thugs and homeless drug addicts. They are committing crimes and murdering and robbing people . The OC jury stepped up and said we are not gonna tolerate it anymore. Next time you see gang colors hit record on your phone and tape the criminal activity . The homeless loser was so bad his own family had a restraining order against him. Another drain on our tax dollars to incarcerate him gone.
