Too funny. Was at South Coast Plaza yesterday and spotted about a dozen poor knock offs. Yuck.

I was getting ready to start a hike the other day at Peters Canyon in Irvine and it was hot. One old lady got out of her brand new Mercedes S class, looked at me with a great amount of discomfort and said "good gosh it's scorching... this is why I NEVER come inland"

WTF? Irvine is "inland" now? Must have been one of the rich snobs from Laguna or Newport. But yes, you covered all the essentials on your list... but if you're going to live in Aliso you will be considered the servant class by those in Newport. Remember that.

Haha reminds me when I invited a couple from Newport Coast out to Havana @ the Lab in Costa Mesa. I remember they looked around like they were in a foreign country and when I asked if they had even been here? They replied: "no we live on the coast and don't leave the coast"... I gave them the WTF look.

Anyways yeah I am not getting all caught up in the snobbery that exists in OC. I really don't care. Everyone can kiss my ass this time around.

I know people in CDM who think anything across the PCH is inland.

And, I have to admit, to me, Irvine is inland. If there's a big difference in sunshine and heat, it's inland to me.

If you live in Newport/CDM, you go inland for the airport and maybe Segerstrom/SCP/Antonellos. That's about it.
