Sure looks like Salmon is way better than Trout when looking to fish in Orange County during the month of October. Salmon season was great back in 2002 especially, Trout season in 2014 completely nonexistent.

The Trout seem to have extra toxicity as of late. Maybe from the sewage in the Santa Ana River ?

If this question is about inland fishing in OC, forget about it. Head to the Mountains. Big Pine and above.

I am sure you are right since there is no Trout to be found in Anaheim.

While we are on the subject, anyone have anything good or bad to say about Irvine Lake. I cannot imagine there is much water with the drought. Is it worth a visit?

There's a charge??? OK, I think that just made my decision. I'll pay to rent a boat, etc, but not simply to visit.
