A high-rise is considered to be any building 75 feet or taller. There are plenty of high-rise buildings throughout OC. Everything from business to apartments to condos. The Metrolink is a major commuter train that runs from Oceanside to LA making 12 stops in major OC cities along the way. OC also has a huge buss system that connects the entire county. Try getting all that in a true suburb.

Yes, you understood me correctly. A SUBURB! I have to laugh at OC people when they try and pretend that OC is some separate city, away from L.A.

Maybe it's YOU who doesn't understand what a suburb is. The IE and OC are suburbs within the greater Los Angeles metro area.

I would classify oc as a satellite surrounding Los Angeles. LA is the urban and business core.
That sums it up well

OCTA buses are a joke. I took the bus home from Irvine to Orange once. I could have walked faster!

Metrolink is commuter rail, and only works for a handful of long distance commuters. OC rejected light rail over 10 years ago.

Here's a little lesson for you so you understand where you live:

Greater Los Angeles Area - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All of Orange County is included in the L.A. news and the L.A. Times. Another clue that OC isn't it's "own entity". There is also no separation of built up areas between LA county and OC.

Shall I list half a dozen other suburbs that also have rail and buses? It doesn't make them any less suburban.
Culver city
South pas
Pasadena
Glendale
Burbank
Valley village
Inglewood
Etc.

San Juan Capistrano is on Metrolink, too. Are you now saying that it is urban too? Moderator cut: see note

Dress it up any way you want. Unless you are from Mexico, Santa Ana is a dump.

Because we share a border with it and many US citizens have visited there and are familiar with at least parts of it?

Accusatory much?

Dang, that's pretty racist right there. You sound a lot like my bitter gun toting uncle. Poor guy was more worried about Mexicans than his health.
