Hi all,

Where would you say is a strategic living location within OC? Specifically, when targeting high-tech jobs, I would think that living in Irvine would be ideal. However, when factoring in cost of homeownership, I would think that a neighboring city (i.e., Lake Forest) would be better. What I'm really targeting is a balance between cost of homeownership and distance to potential job locations. Does anyone have any opinions that they would be willing to share? I would greatly appreciate it.

Sammy

Irvine is definitely the hub for tech jobs, so anything on the outskirts should be fine if you didn't want to pay the premium to live in Irvine. RSM, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Tustin, etc. are all great places to live if you can afford it.
