No idea how these broke people out here in North OC are doing this. They must really be sponging off state and federal handouts. Our tax dollars hard at work, thanks Obama!

Want to rent in O.C.? You need to make $30.92 an hour or work 137 hours a week for two bedrooms, report says - The Orange County Register

Not really.. You can make two dollars a hour in nickels dimes and quarters and live in one of the two homeless shelters in Laguna Beach and get yo food at the free food pantry for the poor on Laguna Canyon Road. Hagan place project and Alice Court also take section 8, priority at Hagan Place for people with HIV/Aids. Some people care and do not hate on the less fortunate.

Yes, $31/hr for one person. So a couple could get by making $16/hr each. That doesn't sound too bad. If your combined income is less than $32/hr, you need to gtfo.

The elephant in the room is demand. Reduce demand and prices will fall or wages will increase.

The last line of that article is brilliant. “Housing is expensive for everyone, but it’s more expensive for low income (workers) making minimum wage.” REALLY? People with less money have more trouble paying for things than people with more money? Who knew.

Silly you, our minimum wage is $9 going to $10 next year. Only 3 people are needed.

Oh my goodness.

A couple and a third wheel should do the trick then.

No, it went off the air right before I turned 1. I'll never forget the theme song though.

"They" would have you believe that surviving in Southern CA is impossible for three working-class singles these days though.
