Well it looks like Disneyland is considering demand based fees. I guess that leaves little chance of them bringing back the old Southern California Pass they used to sell. I would consider the Southern California select pass since it is 300. Maybe I should get it before they do away with passes altogether.

Yep, they keep trying these things to limit crowds. I have no idea why they don't just sell advance tickets, that would solve the problem. If you want to go, you select what day you want to go and buy tix for that day. Let's say capacity is 60k for the main park, you sell 50k in advance and set aside another 8-10k for arrivals that day on a first come, first served basis and be done with it. That way, you know (give or take a few) how many people will be at the park that day and you control how many people get in.
