Interesting that with the exception of VB, these are all western or southwestern cities. I really like Scottsdale. Would move there in a second if it weren't for the sweltering summers.

Interesting methodology. By bringing down the minimum population to 200K instead of the normal 250K, they were able to pick up some small cities.

Hey mbell, why isn't Santa Ana in the top 10 most dangerous cities? I thought it was Americas most dangerous city on your books! Oh that's right, it's because Santa Ana is one of the safest large cities in America!

Irvine is not safe. There are many hazards including boredom, soul-sucking sameness, and dangerous crowded parking lots due to poor urban planning.

Irvine is the urban living equivalent of the It's a Small World Ride at Disneyland but four times longer and bigger. It's only safe if you swallow the blue pill.

LOL! You must have missed the other thread. Irvine has a world class amphitheater with some of the best concerts in CA, one of the best outdoor malls in the country, a world famous comedy club, great parks, golf courses, wildlife sanctuaries and a ton of restaurants and bars. Thats more to do than any OC city aside from Anaheim can claim.

hahahaha so true. The soul-sucking sameness is rampant in Irvine.

Irvine is a great city. I believe its usually ranked in the top 10 in the country for safety. I wouldn't mind living there.

That's gonna hurt their ranking next year. Just like the quadruple murder suicide in Mission Viejo did to Mission Viejo's ranking this year.
