I'm coming to OC (Anaheim Hills) from LA county, and there we have the Peachhead yahoo list, with thousands of members, where you can ask all kinds of questions from "Has anyone used this preschool?" To "Give me a fair mechanic" or "what is the going rate for nannies traveling with you?" And everything in between. No part of life is left out; you can ask just about any question.

There is a Peachhead OC list, but it is completely dead. This forum is the closest thing I've found, but maybe I don't know where to look. The first things I would ask would be how to find a good housekeeper, and also a handyman. Where do you all turn for such queries? I'd also like to know where we could go swimming. We won't have a pool, but my kids are learning how to swim, so I'd like to find a clean and fun public pool somewhere.

Thanks if anyone has answers to these, as well as pointing me to a group of there is one where OC folk exchange great tips etc.

I don't know if Anaheim Hills has one (I'm sure they do) but I joined a few Facebook pages for South OC cities where people ask these types of questions, and get good answers very quickly. An example is the page "San Clemente Life" which has over 3000 members.

After a quick search, looks like the pages "Anaheim Hills Buzz" and "Anaheim Hills Scoop" may be what you're looking for, however they're closed groups, so you have to join them to see the content.

Neither one of those FB groups exists, really. One was an attempt to form a group that didn't work and the other isn't even there.

Isn't there any source of networking for family life, household life in the Anaheim Hills area? What a shame if there really isn't.

Anaheim Hills peeps? Is there any forum or list where people can share and help one another?
